Raheem Sterling is a priority target for Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel and new owner Todd Boehly.

Chelsea are negotiating via intermediaries for the potential transfer of Manchester City star Raheem Sterling. The Blues will welcome Raheem Sterling if a deal with Manchester City can be struck.

The Englishman is a priority target for Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel and new owner Todd Boehly.

Sterling’s England teammates Reece James and Callum Hudson-Odoi have already opened up on their admiration for him ahead of a potential move to Chelsea this summer.

The West Londoners boss Thomas Tuchel is understood to be a huge admirer of Sterling and could try to tempt him to Stamford Bridge with a £35m offer in the coming days.

Cobham graduate Hudson-Odoi previously described the City winger as his “idol” saying Sterling is the player he “will try to replicate”. James has already shared his belief that Sterling is “one of the best wingers in the world”.

Clauss may be considered as a replacement for James.

Chelsea are considering making a move for Lens defender Jonathan Clauss.

Clauss was recently added to the France national team and made four appearances. The right-back has been linked with some top clubs around Europe.

As per reports of La Voix du Nord, the Blues are now interested in signing Clauss as they look to provide increased competition for Reece James.

The 29-year-old has spent little time during his career playing top-flight football but has now become a regular for France ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2022.

Clauss is not regular at Chelsea and he finds it difficult to cement a regular starting place in Tuchel’s XI. The German has been known to rotate his team a fair amount throughout the season.

According to the Daily Mail, the 29-year-old defender may be considered as a replacement for James, who has been linked with a move to Manchester City and Real Madrid this summer. The England international is yet to sign a new deal at the club, so Chelsea may be eyeing a new right-back in case James decides to leave the club.

Chelsea is in line to secure a £35million deal for Raheem Sterling.

The 27-year-old England forward has been linked with a move away from the Etihad this summer and has been linked with Barcelona and Real Madrid in recent weeks.

He suggested that he could leave Man City as he found his first-team opportunities more limited in recent times.

Even manager Pep Guardiola addressed Sterling’s future and said he would not stand in his way if he decides to leave the club.

“Raheem is our player and hopefully will be an important player for us,” Guardiola said. “He wants more game time – like Riyad [Mahrez] when he doesn’t play, they complain, when Joao [Cancelo] doesn’t play, [he] complains.

“Some players, they complain when they want to play all the time. What I want from Raheem and everyone is to be happy – they have to be satisfied to be here, they have to be delighted to be in this club.

“If this is not the case, they are free to take the decision that is best for them – for the players, and their families. This is the most important thing.”

Raheem Sterling will enter in the final year of his contract.

Chelsea are plotting a move for Manchester City forward Raheem Sterling despite his link to Arsenal.

The Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that Thomas Tuchel is interested in working with the Englishman.

Sterling has been linked with his teammate Gabriel Jesus who is on Arsenal’s radar. The Blues are now looking at the possibility of signing Sterling.

Sterling’s future is uncertain at Etihad. The Englishman will enter the final year of his contract.

The Blues would have to splurge around £50 million for Sterling, but City might hold onto him if Jesus joins Arsenal this summer.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are working on the deal to send Lukaku back to Inter Milan on loan with talks between both clubs in progress.

Tuchel wants to boost the attack in the summer transfer window and Sterling would be the best option.

Former Inter Milan midfielder Di Biagio was talking about Romelu Lukaku speaking to Sky Italia.

Former Inter Milan midfielder Gigi di Biagio is backing the return of Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea. The Belgium international is in loan talks with Inter.

Former Nerazzurri midfielder Di Biagio told Sky Italia: “It’s really quite romantic that we all got the feeling from the first day that Lukaku wanted to return to Inter straight away.

“You could tell from the way he spoke, the look on his face, he still felt in his heart that he was still an Inter player. Then there was that interview he gave too…

“Lukaku can still make the difference in Serie A, for his motivation, his desire to wear the jersey, he wants to give something more.

“He felt like he was the King at Inter, whereas something at Chelsea just wasn’t working.”

Romelu Lukaku is pushing for a move back to Inter Milan.

The Belgian striker has struggled to settle in his second spell at Stamford Bridge and Chelsea seems to have made quite an expensive mistake.

They paid £97.5million for his services to Inter Milan last summer but could be allowed to leave on loan in this transfer window.

He registered only eight goals last season and Tuchel often used Havertz ahead of Lukaku towards the end of the season.

Inter Milan are currently favourties to potentially land their former star on a season-long loan.

“His performances weren’t really good enough. It looks like he’s lost his confidence,” O’Hara told talkSPORT.

“I think Lukaku is one of those players who needs to have an arm around him by the manager to really give him that belief. Thomas Tuchel didn’t give him that.

“It’s been an absolute disaster of a signing. I thought he was going to be the final piece in the jigsaw.”

Chelsea to opt for Sterling despite chance to sign Gabriel Jesus

Raheem Sterling is capable of playing on the right and as a support striker too.

Chelsea are interested in Manchester City attacker Raheem Sterling. As per reports of Football Daily (h/t Football London), the Blues are understood to have a stronger interest in Raheem Sterling than in Gabriel Jesus.

Man City pair have been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge this summer. Arsenal are the frontrunners to sign Jesus and they seem to be closing in on the Brazilian for a fee in the region of £50 million.

Raheem Sterling is now Chelsea’s bigger target. The West London club is more interested in the England international, who is considered as an option to breathe more life into Chelsea’s left flank.

The 27-year-old is also capable of playing on the right and as a support striker too. He has scored 131 goals and registered 95 assists for the Cityzens.

The Blues are also reportedly lining up Bayern Munich outcast Robert Lewandowski as their go-to striker for this window.

Sevilla are open to leaving Jules Kounde this summer.

Chelsea are confident of signing Jules Kounde transfer amid Barcelona links.

According to the Evening Standard, the Blues remain in the driving seat in pursuit of Sevilla defender Jules Kounde. He has been linked with Barcelona which has caused concerns of a potential hijack amongst the Chelsea faithful.

The West Londoners have been courting Kounde for almost a year now. They have already agreed to personal terms with the defender last year. The transfer didn’t go through due to Sevilla raising their valuation, to which Chelsea didn’t oblige.

Sevilla are open to leaving the 23-year-old this summer. Sevilla president Jose Castro has admitted to the same and made the club’s stance very clear by saying, “This happened last year and he will only be sold if the offer is the one that the club deems enough and acceptable so that he can leave, as we have always done.”

Kounde is currently recovering from surgery on a minor pelvis issue. The same issue forced him off at half-time while he was playing for France in their Nations League defeat to Croatia at home.

Given Chelsea’s current defensive crisis, the West London club are more than likely to oblige by the end of the window and it does seem like a matter of when and not if.

Chelsea and Inter Milan continue to plot Romelu Lukaku exit plan

Chelsea and Inter Milan are continuing to talk as the two clubs strive to come to an agreement that will bring the Blues’ big-name signing turned misfit Romelu Lukaku back to San Siro.

According to sources, the two clubs are discussing the prospect of a loan deal, but there is one big stumbling block that is supposed to be delaying things down.

The loan cost for the 29-year-old striker must be negotiated, but that isn’t the major issue. Inter are willing to cover Lukaku’s whole salary, which Chelsea appreciates, as well as a €5 million loan fee, which Chelsea does not. The residents of West London are anticipating more, but a resolution is expected in this respect.

Chelsea’s willingness to bring players in the opposite way appears to be the biggest roadblock to finding a solution right now. The Blues have shown an interest in right-back Denzel Dumfries and center-back Alessandro Bastoni so far, but Inter are said to desire a direct transfer with no additional players involved.

Todd Boehly, the new owner of Chelsea, isn’t persuaded that letting the striker go on loan is the wisest option. Lukaku has developed a positive relationship with the American and is choosing to be loyal and professional to the club during this period.
