Chelsea manager Pochettino provides injury update on Enzo Fernandez

Enzo has been suffering from groin problems and will miss the weekend game in the Premier League.

Chelsea boss Pochettino gives an injury update on Enzo Fernandez who had to leave the field after only 30 minutes against Newcastle United in the EFL Cup quarterfinals.

He joined the list of injured players and Chelsea needs to cope with this. Pochettino soon confirmed this after the game. A fresh source in Argentina claimed that Enzo has been suffering from and playing with groin problems.

Ahead of the Premier League clash with Wolves, the Chelsea boss speaks to the media in a press conference as cited by The Evening Standard, Pochettino said: “Enzo is going to be out of the game against Wolverhampton. We are going to see if he can be involved again as soon as possible.


“You already have the information that it was a hernia and he also didn’t feel well. We are going to give treatment with the doctor.

“For me, it is not going to be a problem. I think he is going to be as soon as possible again with the group.”
