Bruno Saltor will have a big challenge as Chelsea’s interim boss

Fabrizio Romano cited interim manager Saltor’s statements.

Bruno Saltor will be Chelsea’s interim boss until they find a manager and he faces a huge task of Liverpool in the first tie without Potter.

Bruno Saltor stated that he is prepared to assist the young players that Chelsea have acquired during the past two transfer windows.

Chelsea suffered a 2-0 loss against Aston Villa in the most recent Premier League tie and it pushed them to the 11th spot in the top flight. Chelsea sacked Graham Potter without any delay.

Just 12 victories in 31 games marked the end of Potter’s tenure. Chelsea have no possibility of qualifying for the Champions League.

The board’s decision to fire Thomas Tuchel and the former Swansea City manager during the same season was a colossal failure under new ownership.

On his official Twitter account, Fabrizio Romano cited interim manager Saltor’s statements, which reads as follows:

“If I’m here, it’s because the club thought it was the right step. I spoke to the board, and they have been supportive. It’s a massive challenge. I have a lot of experience; I will try to help players, and I feel I can help the young players”.
