Hakim Ziyech, a failure at Chelsea who is expected to depart the team in the summer, has attracted interest from West Ham
West Ham are reportedly one of the teams interested in the Moroccan international, according to a report from Jeunes Footeux.
Since arriving at Stamford Bridge from Ajax in 2020, he has struggled to make an immediate impact and establish himself as a regular in the squad.
He was being watched by PSG after a strong World Cup performance, and the winger was about to finalise a transfer. The transfer, however, was unsuccessful because Chelsea sent the wrong paperwork, which prevented the necessary signatures from being obtained in time before the deadline.
The player is still “in contact with PSG,” according to the report, and other Premier League and La Liga teams are interested in him as well. The list of organisations includes teams like West Ham, Tottenham, and Fulham.
One thing is certain: the player won’t be at Chelsea next season because he is “determined” to quit the team in the summer. His current deal ends in 2025, so Chelsea will need to make a profit on him this summer or risk losing him for free.
