Lukaku still has three years left on his contract at Stamford Bridge.
Romelu Lukaku is currently playing for AS Roma on loan. He was willing to sign a new deal with a new club as his contract with Chelsea will expire in 2026.
The Blues have reportedly informed the Serie A giants how much it will cost to secure the permanent signing of the Belgium striker next summer.

The 30-year-old has been on fire since joining Jose Mourinho’s side on loan. He has scored seven goals in eight games in the Italian top flight.
Lukaku still has three years left on his contract at Stamford Bridge and as per Fabrizio Romano, it will cost Roma around £37m if they choose to make the signing permanent next summer.
Lukaku was re-signed in 2021 for a record transfer fee of £97.5m in 2021. Roma takes the 10th spot in the Serie A with rumours of a Mourinho sacking becoming louder and louder every week.
