Armando Broja is happy with the start of his Chelsea career.
The 21-year-old Albanian forward has signed a long-term contract with the Blues this summer.
He spent the last season on loan with Southampton scoring 10 goals in all competitions.
He has now featured in all the last six games under new manager Graham Potter who highly rates the young forward.
“Everyone knows Chelsea is one of the best football clubs in the world so it’s always going to be tough to get into this team and try to perform for this team,” he said, speaking before their match with Dinamo Zagreb.
“I was very excited to play for the first time in the Premier League and I felt like it was a really good stepping stone for me but now to step up to Chelsea is a bigger thing for me,” Broja added, looking back at his Saints spell.
Broja later addressed on his future amid rumours of him leaving next summer.
“For me, I was just focusing on trying to be ready for the season, getting ready for pre-season and trying to show the manager what I can do for the club and trying to get into Chelsea.
