Chelsea are monitoring Manchester United’s talks for Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong. The Red Devils have been heavily linked with the 25-year-old midfielder.
According to the Guardian, Chelsea are keenly following any developments surrounding the Netherlands international.
It comes after Manchester United agreed on a fee with Barca worth around £56million with add-ons included.
If the North London club are keen to match that bid, then they may be in for a transfer battle with their Premier League rivals.
Frenkie de Jong may be able to add much-needed depth and long-term security to the middle third for Thomas Tuchel.
