Kurt Zouma is enjoying his purple patch at Chelsea.
The Blues defender was brought into the club a little over four years ago but several key injuries and loan spells thereafter, Zouma was all but done at the club.
However, credit to his hardwork, he has managed to establish himself as the first choice pairing for center backs and is a happy man indeed.
He told the club’s website: “Maybe, yeah, but I felt settled from the moment I arrived. Then I had the injury and had to go on loan, but I now I feel very settled again just like I did when I joined.
“It feels like the same place, really, just the players and the manager had changed.”
Zouma added: “I have developed in every aspect, even mentally. I have learned to deal with things when they are going well and when they are going not so well. I have learned the work you need to put in every day, the time you have to spend in the gym.
“I think I have improved my game too, tactically and physically, and now I am even scoring some goals, hopefully it keeps going like that. ”
