Zidane provides Eden Hazard injury update ahead of Chelsea reunion

Eden Hazard is closing in on making his Real Madrid return.

The 30-year old Belgian winger joined Los Blancos in the summer of 2019 for £89million.

He has failed to live up to that pricetag struggling with injuries and bad form in the last two seasons.

Hazard has again suffered with injuries this year and has been restricted to only 14 appearances in all competitions.

The Belgian international is desperate to prove his fitness test ahead of the Champions League reunion with his former club Chelsea.

‘You will see the squad for tomorrow’s game later,’ Zidane said when asked about Hazard’s possible return on Sunday.

‘He is feeling very better and he is ready. He wants to be back more than anyone else.’

‘We have been more cautious with Carvajal and Hazard, because they are relapses. They are both better and that is good for the team.’
