Willian ponders on possible Hazard exit

Willian joined the club in 2013, when Jose snatched him from the arm Spurs. He has been with the club ever since and played some truly memorable games and most importantly formed an incredible partnership with Eden Hazard.

Now with reports flooding in of Hazard leaving, Willian has expressed his opinion on the matter.

Willian told Sky Sports: “It’s difficult to say [anything] about this situation because we do not know what is going to happen.

“What I can say is if he goes, I am going to be very sad.”

The duo have played together for six seasons and saved Chelsea on multiple occasions. They play the free flowing style of wing football with both player comfortable on either wing and swapping sides every now and then to mix up attacks and confuse defenders.

Should Hazard leave the club, it will definitely be a big loss for the Blues but they should be more than covered on the wings with Christian Pulisic joining the club and Callum Hudson-Odoi developing rapidly in his teenage years.

The problem is with the club being indecisive about the manager and other positions’ signings and it might cause Chelsea to fail in the coming season.
