Chelsea star Willian has committed his future to Chelsea.
“My future is at Chelsea,” Willian told BT Sport. “It did not come to me and if it arrived at the club, they didn’t tell me anything.”
His stance will make Sarri happy who apparently had no clue about anything.
“Stop, stop, stop. I don’t know anything about the Willian contract. I don’t know what to answer. Maybe he has 12 years of contract, I don’t know. I don’t know the detail. You are trying to (make) me speak about something I don’t know.”
He said: “You know very well that Willian is a very important player for us. As I said yesterday in the news conference, in my opinion, Willian has to stay with us. In my opinion Willian has to stay with us. (He is) a very important player, like Pedro. [Callum] Hudson-Odoi is (also) becoming for us a really important player.
“With Eden (Hazard) as a striker, we need wingers. So we need Pedro. We need Hudson-Odoi. We need Willian of course. For us he’s a fundamental player.”
It now remains to be seen if Hudson-Odoi follows Willian’s stance and commits to Chelsea.
