Claude Makelele has reportedly advised Chelsea to sign PSG youngster Kays Ruiz-Atil.
Makelele joined the Stamford Bridge outfit as a technical advisor last August along with other Chelsea legends like Petr Cech and Frank Lampard on the coaching and board side.
Makelele is now reportedly scouting for players for Chelsea to sign in France and PSG midfielder Kays has caught his attention.
The 17 year old midfielder joined PSG from Barcelona back in 2015 as a kid and has trained with the youth team over there. Kays has contract with the Paris team till 2021.
However, Chelsea, who are believed to be building an young team are really interested in getting on board talented youngsters.
Since Lampard’s arrival last August, the club’s approach has for the first time holistically changed into building a club that is based on youth talent and oragnically developed players rather than buying million dollar superstars.
Hence, Kays fits into that bill perfectly. As for PSG, they are desperate to not lose their stars. The Paris team are somewhat of an outfit who are unable to convince anyone of their project and keep losing important players despite plugging in so much money.
Will Kays follow suit?
