Experienced Wildcard in the form of Wilfred Zaha might provide Chelsea with the objectives and edge they require

Since his return to Crystal Palace from Manchester United all those years ago, Wilfred Zaha has been linked with moves away from the club.

He’s never quite been able to convince anyone to take the risk, but now that his contract is nearing its end, it seems certain that a top team will take a chance on signing him. Chelsea is one of the teams being mentioned.

He is no longer a fun youngster or even a player who has many more productive years in front of him at this point. But because of his expertise and track record in the Premier League, you feel that a top team could get one or two really strong seasons out of him if they gave him the appropriate circumstances.

The club have spent a lot of money, especially on offensive players from abroad for Chelsea, who have failed to make it in this country. After all that, perhaps Chelsea ought to select a candidate with a proven track record in our league.
