What Chelsea are doing to keep Callum Hudson-Odoi at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea are all set to lose Eden Hazard this summer.

And now with the transfer ban all but imposed, the Blues will be prevented from making any further signings for almost an year. This means that they will have to make do with the squad at their disposal.

The very first thing they should try to do is make sure they stop bleeding players. Keeping the players is more important than signing new ones. One star who is on the hinges of exit is Callum Hudson-Odoi.

The exciting winger came through the ranks at Chelsea and is one of the few academy stars to have successfully broken into the first team. He is only 18 years old but already has teams like Bayern Munich on his tail.

It would seem that Chelsea are also desperate to keep hold of their future star man. So much so, that the Blues are reportedly ready to give Hudson-Odoi not only a better contract but also hand him the iconic number 10 jersey once worn by Gianfranco Zola and currently owned by Eden Hazard.

This would be a massive statement from the Blues and Hudson-Odoi will have to live up to the hype but certainly a sweet deal and incentive for the player to stay in London.
