Wayne Bridge sends double warning ahead of Champions League final

Chelsea beat Manchester City twice earlier this season.

Former England defender Wayne Bridge represented both Chelsea and Manchester City during his career.

Pep Guardiola’s men suffered a double defeat this season at the hands of Chelsea.

They need to with this familiar threat posed by Thomas Tuchel’s side.

He told bettingexpert.com: “Chelsea might have a slight advantage, because they know they can beat City.

“If they hadn’t have beaten them then they won’t be as positive as they might be now. Chelsea know that they can beat them. They’re two great teams and Pep won’t let the recent matches affect him, but it could be at the back of his mind.

“Chelsea will definitely take a lot from beating them and it can work for them, but they won’t be expecting to win. They know they can beat City and they can do it again.”

He added: “I think it’s going to be a tight game.

“City can often go and storm a match, but the way that Chelsea have played against them means it will be a tough match. Chelsea have got results against City, so it could go either way.

“In both recent games between these sides, Chelsea dominated the midfield and beat City. Chelsea got the better of them in the middle of the park and that will be vital again. What is also important in this game is the mental side of things.
