The goal of Villarreal’s aggressive pursuit of Chelsea’s Portuguese central defender Renato Veiga is to bolster their defense for the forthcoming campaign.
On his Twitter account, Fabrizio Romano stated that the Blue team refused the Yellow Submarine’s initial formal offer for the player, but they would keep trying until the conclusion of the market.
For the defensive scheme to be balanced, Marcelino suggests adding a center defender who can play on the left profile. For Villarreal’s attacking style, 20-year-old Renato Veiga is notable for his ball distribution and playmaking skills.
A left-footed center-back who can improve ball distribution is not available to the coach. Negotiations would be made easier because the player has already approved Villarreal, according to information from Fabrizio Romano. Chelsea will not take large concessions, though, and they are adamant about their financial expectations.
Villarreal make offer for Renato Veiga
The Castellón club may enhance the original plan to reopen the operation in the days ahead, according to sources near the locker room. Sources close to the player’s surroundings note that “if the player puts pressure, the chances of arriving before the market closes increase.”
One of the more active clubs in the transfer market has been Villarreal. In addition to the loan of Rafa MarÃn and the final acquisition of Tajon Buchanan, they have signed Santiago Mouriño, Thomas Partey, and Alberto Moleiro. The club’s dedication to combining youth and experience to compete at the top level is furthered by these initiatives.
The market is closing in a few days, so the Yellow board is racing against the clock. Presenting an offer that persuades Chelsea without jeopardizing the club’s financial stability is the aim.
In keeping with their plan to attract young players with potential for development, Villarreal would add reinforcement for the now and the future if Renato Veiga’s arrival is ultimately confirmed.
