Galatasaray will cover the player’s salary but there is no option or obligation to buy clause included in the deal.
Chelsea’s priority target Viktor Osimhen gets his new club for the current season. Napoli striker has joined Galatasaray on loan and the club confirmed this through social media.
The Nigeria international was linked with a move away from the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona throughout the transfer window but failed to crack any deal. He was Chelsea’s potential target but his reported £113m release didn’t allow them to sign. Al Ahli were also in the race but this deal didn’t happen.

Osimhen was also dropped from Napoli squad for the rest of the season. They signed Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea as his replacement.
The Turkish club had struck an agreement to sign the 25-year-old on loan before the Turkish transfer window closes on September 13. He has joined the club on a season-long loan move from Napoli.
Galatasaray will cover the player’s salary but there is no option or obligation to buy clause included in the deal. The Serie A club have the option to extend Osimhen’s contract until June 2027.
