Christian Pulisic is struggling to break into the first-team.

The 23-year-old forward will enter his fourth season as a Chelsea player and has played all the five Premier League games as a substitute.

The USMNT player is apparently pushing for a loan move this summer in order to get more minutes.

U.S. coach Gregg Berhalter believes Pulisic will regain his place in the first-team very soon.

According to reports, he has been told that he will not be leaving Stamford Bridge this summer.

“I’m a guy that bets on Christian just because I’ve seen it before,” Berhalter said on Wednesday.

“He is not counted on in a way that he’d like to, and he gets on the field and he proves everyone wrong and he ends up playing. I mean that’s what he’s been doing. So I tend to believe that’s going to happen. And I think his mind is n a good spot and I think he’s going to fight for it because that’s the type of guy he is.”
