Tottenham Hotspur have set their sights on Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson as manager Roberto De Zerbi looks to complete a major overhaul of his attacking options before the summer transfer window closes.

The north London club have registered an interest in the 25-year-old Senegal international, who carries a £65 million price tag at Stamford Bridge.
According to the Daily Mail, Spurs have yet to make a formal approach to open club-to-club talks, but sources have confirmed that the Lilywhites currently have Jackson under serious consideration.
De Zerbi has already overseen a significant squad rebuild this summer, with Tottenham spending close to £250 million on defensive and midfield reinforcements.
The Italian tactician recently told reporters during the club’s pre-season tour in Sydney that he estimates their transfer business is only “60 per cent” complete.
He also admitted that striker Richarlison could yet depart before the window ends, further increasing the need for attacking additions.
Jackson spent the 2025-26 season on loan at Bayern Munich after his relationship with former Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca broke down.
Despite that temporary exit, the forward impressed during his previous campaigns at Chelsea, reaching double figures in Premier League goals in both the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons.
He has registered 24 goals and 10 assists in 65 Premier League appearances for the Blues overall.
Chelsea currently find themselves with a surplus of strikers following the arrival of Danny Welbeck from Brighton.
With Liam Delap, Emmanuel Emegha, Marc Guiu and Joao Pedro also on the books, the west London club are understood to need to sell or loan at least two forwards.
Tottenham’s interest in Jackson is not a recent development. Sporting director Johan Lange, who previously held the same role at Aston Villa, has admired the Senegalese forward for some time, including before De Zerbi’s arrival as head coach.
However, Spurs face competition from Villa, with Unai Emery’s side also monitoring the striker’s situation.
Jackson is open to leaving Chelsea in search of guaranteed regular first-team football.
Whether Tottenham will meet Chelsea’s £65 million valuation remains to be seen, but with De Zerbi vowing to deliver more signings before the season kicks off, this is a transfer saga that promises to gather momentum in the coming days.
