The pressure is on Tottenham in top-four race, insists Cesc Fàbregas.
Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fàbregas says Tottenham Hotspur have everything to lose heading in the final stages of the season.
Fourth-placed Spurs take on Watford in the Premier League on Monday evening and a win for Mauricio Pochettino’s side will see them move five points clear of Chelsea with three games to go.
Fabregas said:
“We won, so Tottenham will probably feel that they need to do well and not drop points anymore,” the 30-year-old told reporters.
“But the advantage is for them because it’s not up to us. Even if we win every game and they do well, we will not be in the Champions League next year, so that’s why I would prefer to be in their position.
“We just have to keep on winning, but they obviously have the advantage because they are on top.”
