Conor Gallagher dreams to play for Chelsea as a first-team player.

The 21-year old midfielder is currently playing at Crystal Palace on loan from Chelsea.

The Chelsea academy product joined the Blues when he was eight years old and moved up the ranks enjoying loan spells at Charlton Athletic, Swansea City and West Brom.

He has contributed four goals and two assists from his midfield position at Crystal Palace.

It will be interesting to see what Chelsea plans for him next year when his loan spell ends.

“It is going to be really interesting to see whether Conor Gallagher can break into the Chelsea team next season. At 21, he has been superb on loan at Crystal Palace and he carries a bigger goal threat than any of the central midfield players at Chelsea at the moment,” Cascarino wrote for The Times.

“I think he can score ten goals a season for them, and he has so much energy in the way he gets around the pitch. The question will be whether he is good enough technically to play in Thomas Tuchel’s system — I think he is.”
