Thomas Tuchel insists it is not his job to explain club's DNA to Todd Boehly

Thomas Tuchel hasn’t had any conversation with the new owner.

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel says it is not his job to explain the club’s DNA to Todd Boehly who has taken over the club.

It was announced prior to Saturday’s draw with Wolves that American billionaire Boehly and his consortium had reached an agreement to acquire the Chelsea. The club has become the world’s richest club.

Thomas Tuchel hasn’t had any conversation with the new owner and the German believes it is not his role to explain what the club is about.

While talking via football.london during the post-match presentation, Tuchel said: “I don’t even know if it is my job, I’m head coach of the team and have enough to do.

“If he wants my impression I am happy to give it but I’m not too sure this is my job and I’m pretty sure he knows very well what Chelsea is all about.”
