Thomas Tuchel confirms full squad is available for Champions League final.

Thomas Tuchel has confirmed that both Edouard Mendy and N’Golo Kante are available for the final after it was expected that the duo could miss today’s final in Porto.

Tuchel said: “[It’s the] best news ever, no injuries. I hope it stays like this after training today.”

The Blues trained yesterday on the Estadio do Dragao pitch yesterday.

“We arrive and the countdown is on for a big, big match, maybe the biggest in Europe,” Tuchel said. “It’s a very demanding week mentally and physically and the coaches need to get it right.

“It’s been a relaxed day today. We enjoyed some quality time at the hotel, enjoyed the hotel and weather. We connected with our core, our love of the game, the passion we shared for this game as little kids.

“The tension is building naturally and, of course, we don’t want to arrive overexcited and under excited.

“The best thing is to feel the feelings: if you’re nervous, you’re nervous. Maybe the coach is too. You can use that to be at your best level.

“Pressure can be a huge, a big backpack to carry. So just accept it. Let’s be who we are.

“We’re a strong group and we have a genuine belief and trust in what we do. We will arrive together. We will be here and be a strong Chelsea group to win this cup.”
