Chelsea has lost both Chilwell and Kante to injuries.
The Blues have comfortably won 4-0 against the Serie A giants on Tuesday night and secured their spot in the round-of-16.
Both Kante and Chilwell suffered injuries and will be examined more closely ahead of their weekend’s meeting with Man United.
Chilwell was taken off due to a serious knee injury who seemed to be in a lot of pain during the game.
Tuchel said: “He was in a lot of pain, now he feels a bit better. We have an examination tomorrow to be a bit more precise and we hope for the best. Hopefully, we get away with fingers crossed, with not too bad news.
“[…] he was in such a fantastic moment like Reece [James] on the other side. They have been in the best shape they could possibly be; so strong and full of confidence, such a lot of quality.”
Kante, on the other hand, appears to have a knock on his knee and was replaced by Ruben Loftus-Cheek in the first half.
Tuchel added: “N’Golo was the same. He got stronger and stronger in the first half then twisted his knee a little bit. So hopefully, it is not too bad.”
