Jorginho is happy playing under Thomas Tuchel.
The Italian international had seen his minutes dropped under previous managers at Chelsea.
Frank Lampard prefered Matteo Kovacic and Kante over Jorginho as his managerial reign at Blues continued. However, the midfielder has been seeing more minutes under the new boss.
“I’m very happy because the team is doing very well, working hard, trying to understand what the coach wants,” Jorginho told Chelsea’s website.
Chelsea are yet to be beaten under Tuchel with Jorginho fully integrated into the new system. He said, “I think it’s the right way to move forward.
“He understood the characteristics of the players and the way he wants to play is good for our characteristics. So he understood that and he’s trying to give us the advice and the right way to work and then the results are coming.”
Chelsea are currently fifth in the Premier League table just two points behind one of the Champions League spots. There has been major tactical shifts which has ousted some of the regulars under Lampard.
Jorginho seems to have found his way back just like Marcos Alonso and Antonio Rudiger. No doubt the Italian feels happy in a long time at Stamford Bridge.
