N’Golo Kante suffered a hamstring injury and missed three games in January.

The Blues are unbeaten in their last five matches and four of those came under Thomas Tuchel who replaced Frank Lampard last month.

Kante is expected to make his comeback in their FA Cup draw against Barnsley at Stamford Bridge.

The French midfielder is yet to start a match under Thomas Tuchel and only made a few substitute appearances under the new manager.

Since his comeback, he played only 31 minutes off the bench and will have the chance to impress and reclaim his regular starting role in the regular XI.

‘I think N’Golo fits into any manager’s plans on the planet. I was desperate to have him in my teams [in the past],’ Tuchel said.

‘I am so happy to have him back again. We put him on the pitch against Tottenham and he helped everybody on the pitch, which is what he does.

‘To see the guy live, to see how he works, how humble he is, the quality he gives to the team. I am so humble to be his coach. He will start tomorrow.’
