Tuchel could win the Manager of the Year award if Chelsea wins the Champions League.

The German coach has transformed the Blues since his takeover in late January as the manager to replace former coach Frank Lampard.

Former Blues keeper Mark Schwarzer believes if Chelsea wins both FA Cup and Champions League and gets a top-four finish in the Premier League, we could see Tuchel named as the best manager of the 2020/21 season.

Chelsea had only conceded four goals in 20 matches since the arrival of the German coach.

“What happens if Chelsea: win the FA Cup, get in the top four, and also win the Champions League,” Schwarzer told Sky Sports.

“Is that all of a sudden that big that he suddenly becomes manager of the season, all be it, coming midway through it, I mean, that’s remarkable.”

“To think Chelsea are in the position they are in now, and he’s obviously the big reason for them doing that,” Schwarzer continued.

“His man-management with the group of players has been superb.

“He’s certainly done incredibly well with the group of players he’s got there.”
