Leeds United are interested in Chelsea midfielder Ross Barkley.

The England international has been linked with a host of new clubs this January window and he could move away from Stamford Bridge this month.

Barkley has failed to nail down a starting role in the Chelsea lineup who currently has 18 months left on his Chelsea contract.

He was widely expected to leave the West London club last summer but might be allowed to leave on loan this winter window.

Tuchel said: “We haven’t discussed it yet [loan deal]. It depends what Ross wants and what possibilities there are and what makes sense. Let’s see.

“There’s always a chance it is not like it is the FA Cup and here’s your chance. There’s always a chance to make it onto the pitch, especially with a lot of Covid and injury cases.

“The situation has not changed, not for Ross, not for anybody else.”
