Chelsea defender Thiago Silva has just one year left to his contract at Stamford Bridge. He signed his two-year deal with the Blues earlier. The 37-year-old star will leave the club this summer. He has his own career plans in European football.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Brazilian side Fluminense has approached Silva, and talks between the two parties are in the initial stages.
Currently, there is no further information regarding the type of deal. Chelsea is also planning to leave Silva considering his age. Chelsea made the most out of the 37-year-old defender and the player is in his final stage.
Meanwhile, Thiago Silva may stay at the Blues for another year ahead of the FIFA World Cup. It will be good preparation for him. Thomas Tuchel is a big fan of him and the club hasn’t disclosed any deal.
