Thiago Silva believes Thomas Tuchel’s squad is strong enough to take out the title.
Thiago Silva is confident Chelsea can challenge for the Premier League title next season. The Blues were the contender last season too under Tuchel but they finished third.
The North London club have had a slow transfer window. They have signed Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Koulibaly in the summer.
Silva believes Thomas Tuchel’s squad is strong enough to take out the title.
Silva spoke to the club’s website when asked about their targets this season, “To win the Premier League. “It’s a very difficult league to play in, but I think it’s possible.”
Chelsea recently beat Udinese in a friendly, and Silva was happy with the performance heading into Saturday’s Premier League opener.
“We have to do things well now during the week before the start of the Premier League,” Silva added.
“I think we are not at 100 per cent quite yet, but we must work hard and well this week to arrive ready for Saturday.”
