Tammy Abraham looks destined to leave Chelsea this summer.
Thomas Tuchel clearly does not favour the striker and is planning to sign reinforcements soon.
According to reports, Aston Villa are lining up a move for Abraham. He scored 26 goals in 40 appearances for Villa in the 2018/19 season, helping them earn promotion. West Ham United are also monitoring his situation.
Speaking exclusively to Football FanCast, Dean Windass said: “It would make sense going to Aston Villa because he was on loan there as a young player.
“I just think he would be a better fit for West Ham. If he goes to Villa, they’ve got Ollie Watkins. Is he going to play? He would be asking whether they would change the system so there is two up top.
“The new Chelsea manager doesn’t fancy him and he’s not in his plans. But why would he want to go to Villa if he might not be playing week in, week out?
“If he goes to West Ham, he would probably be playing week in, week out. It would be a better fit for Moyes than Dean Smith.”
Abraham still has three years left on his contract with Chelsea. The Blues can walk away with a hefty profit off of the sale of their academy graduate.
