Chelsea planning summer move for PSG attacker Ousmane Dembele

Chelsea sets sights on striker following Tosin Adarabioyo signing

Chelsea’s transfer activity has shown no signs of declining. Following the signing of Tosin Adarabioyo, the Blues are now looking to add to their offensive line, with a new striker top on their list.

According to Sky Sports, Chelsea’s management team is keen to take on the club’s ongoing goal-scoring woes and has identified several significant targets.

Chelsea’s striker issue caused debate among fans. Nicolas Jackson’s excellent 17 goals last season weren’t enough to help the club’s scoring, particularly with Christopher Nkunku out injured.

Manager Enzo Maresca, who has recently taken over the club, understands the critical need for a consistent goalscorer to complement his dynamic playing style.

The club’s shortlist is filled with promising names. Benjamin Sesko, Victor Osimhen, Viktor Gyokeres, Ivan Toney, and Artem Dovbyk are all under consideration. Each player brings a unique set of skills that could potentially transform Chelsea’s attacking lineup.

However, acquiring a high-caliber striker like Osimhen may prove challenging given the hefty price tags involved, with Osimhen valued close to £100 million.

Interestingly, Julian Alvarez from Manchester City has emerged as a potential target. The Argentine forward, currently overshadowed by Erling Haaland at City, might be tempted by the opportunity to become the main man at Stamford Bridge.

Alvarez’s versatility and proven track record make him an attractive option for Chelsea, although City values him at £80 million.

As the summer transfer window heats up, Chelsea fans eagerly await further developments. Maresca’s plans to reshape the squad are clear, and securing a top-tier striker will be pivotal for the Blues’ ambitions in the Premier League and the Europa Conference League next season.
