Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly speaks to Saudi league director for summer window

After Chelsea has been playing well lately in the league, transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano has updated the team. Chelsea has not exactly been where they wanted to be, and things have been pretty up and down for them under the new ownership. However, the start of this season has been quite successful, and attitudes about the team, the manager, and the assembled roster are beginning to shift in a more positive direction.

Pundits, the media, and other rival supporters are beginning to think Chelsea might be a team to watch this season, so not every Chelsea supporter will be feeling overconfident just yet. Speaking about all of this, transfer specialist Romano has offered some insights into the players’ and club’s current emotions.

Chelsea will challenge for the title

“I think it’s a very positive situation around Chelsea, probably the best moment after the new owners came in, and so you can see how it feels completely different,” Romano said to Caught Offside. “The team is very happy with how he [Enzo Maresca] is handling things, and always the club is feeling the same.” They’re already quite content with their situation, so I do believe they will be in the running.

“I firmly believe that they are. In my opinion, they are. They are going to be there to fight. As the Premier League in England attests, things are never simple there. Therefore, even with a stellar staff, nothing is assured. Chelsea might be able to make it, though. Furthermore, due to the manager and I having great chemistry.
