Chelsea should be looking to sign Victor Osimhen in the summer.

The Nigerian striker has registered 19 goals and five assists in 22 games in the Serie A so far this campaign.

His efforts has helped Napoli open up an 18-point lead in the Serie A and sits comfortably at the top of the table.

His contract with Napoli expires in the summer of 2025 and his stellar performance has caught the attention of several top European clubs.

Chelsea would definitely need a No.9 this summer and would sign either of Osimhen or Kane at the end of this season.

Kane has entered the final 18 months of his Spurs contract and is expected to move away from Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

Man United legend Rio Ferdinand bemoans Chelsea to make a move for the Napoli forward.

“I reckon Chelsea this summer go for Osimhen,” Ferdinand told Five. “Man United are going for Harry Kane. Harry Kane isn’t going to Chelsea from Spurs, no chance.

“If you play football as a young kid, what is your goal? To win trophies. He is at Spurs, who want to win trophies. They can’t, they don’t. Since the Champions League final, they have gone backwards in terms of the way they are playing and closeness to winning things.
