Los Blancos are ready to try to tempt Chelsea into a sale during the 2025 summer transfer window.
Real Madrid are on the finishing line in pursuit of Chelsea defender Reece James but the deal is yet to happen. James has been regarded as one of the best right-backs in world football. He joined Chelsea under Frank Lampard during the covid season.
Reece James has made more than 150 appearances for the West London club. The academy graduate has netted 11 goals and provided 22 assists. He was part of Chelsea’s Champions League triumph in 2021.
The 24-year-old was hit by injuries and it affected his game. He featured for just 482 minutes last season due to hamstring surgery. He appeared in pre-season but again he faced same injury issue. He is yet to appear in any game this season under Maresca.
🚨 Real Madrid have shown interest in signing Reece James as they look to replace Dani Carvajal in the long-term.
However, the Chelsea captain will need to prove his fitness to earn a move to Madrid.
