Petr Cech furious with decision of Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell isolation

Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell has been asked to self-isolate for the next 10 days.

Chelsea’s technical director Petr Cech has slammed the decision that has forced both Chilwell and Mount into self-isolation until next Tuesday after coming in contact with Billy Gilmour.

The Chelsea duo will have to train away from the England squad after speaking to Billy Gilmour for roughly 22 minutes inside the tunnel.

The decision has left many bewildered as the rest of the Scotland squad have not been asked to self-isolate.

‘Please could someone help me understand how is it possible Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell – both with negative tests – have to isolate after they got in contact with Billy Gilmour while the entire Scottish team who shared the dressing room, hotel, coach and plane while travelling, dinning room, meeting room is allowed to play the game without any problem because they returned the required negative tests?,’ asked Cech on his Instagram page.

‘What is the difference between them returning the same test results? It is incomprehensible…’
