Chelsea spent an astonishing £320 million on eight new signings this January.

The Blues have been pretty active in the January window and spent a historic amount of £320 million on eight new players.

They broke the British record fee by signing Enzo Fernandez for £107 million from Benfica.

The club’s spending under new owner Todd Boehly has prompted questions on how Chelsea will meet Financial Fair Play requirements.

Man City manager Pep Guardiola feels his club would face criticism and scrutiny if they matched Chelsea’s level of spending.

Guardiola was asked to comment on Chelsea’s spending overall since Todd Boehly took over last summer.

Guardiola replied: ‘It’s not my business.

‘It’s not my business, surprised because it’s not a proper state [funding Chelsea].

‘What I’m concerned [about] is the fact we won 11 titles in the last five years, being the fifth or sixth team for net spend in the Premier League, so this is all what I’m concerned about what we’ve done so far in this time.’
