Spanish footballer Pedro Rodriguez will be a free agent at the end of June.
He could leave Chelsea and return to Barcelona, the English media reveal. He will definitely not extend his contract to stay at Stamford Bridge, but his return to the Camp Nou, where he had wonderful moments from 2008 to 2015, is being reported.
“The situation around the coronavirus has affected everyone. I know I have a contract until June 30 and I need to get a definite answer from Chelsea if they don’t count on me anymore. “I am ready to listen to all the other offers and then I will decide where to continue my career,” the 33-year-old winger said.
Betis, Newcastle and Aston Villa are interested in Pedro, but he could return to Barcelona as a free agent. The big clubs will not invest too much in new reinforcements, and Pedro would arrive at the Camp Nou without compensation.
