Chelsea have finally succeeded in securing Tiemoue Bakayoko a loan deal to Napoli.

The Frenchman will be joining Napoli on a year-long loan without any buy-back obligation. That means Bakayoko will once again be at Chelsea after the 2020/21 season.
That is probably a concern for another day since the midfielder has no place in Frank Lampard’s squad and would have only taken up unnecessary space. Simply getting his wages off the club’s books is a huge plus.
