Jorgensen already completed his medical with Chelsea in the USA.
Chelsea are busy in the summer transfer window and the Blues have now officially signed one more player. They have confirmed the arrival of goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen from Villarreal on a 7-year contract.
The Danish shot-stopper has joined the club in a deal worth €24.5m. His contract will expire in the summer of 2031. Enzo Maresca needed a goalkeeper who could be the backup option.
As per reports, Jorgensen had already completed his medical with Chelsea in the USA. The 22-year-old becomes the seventh new face to arrive in the Stamford Bridge ranks this summer.

Villarreal goalkeeper spoke to the official Chelsea website, “This move is a dream come true. I am very excited to have signed for Chelsea, one of the biggest clubs in the world. I can’t wait to get to know everyone and to start playing with all my new teammates.”
Jorgensen appeared in 36 games in La Liga and kept six clean sheets and conceded 63 goals. He only featured once in the Europa League. The Danish star will likely find himself training alongside Djordje Petrovic and Robert Sanchez for the most part.
