Norwich fans made a foul-mouthed chant at Gilmour to make their feelings clear.
Norwich City fans are turning on their loanee, Billy Gilmour. According to The Mirror, Norwich supporters appeared to aim a foul-mouthed chant at on-loan Chelsea midfielder during their defeat to Crystal Palace.
Dean Smith has given enough games to Gilmour in his lineup. He selected the 20-year-old as one of the two holding players in a 4-2-3-1 formation.
Chelsea midfielder again started in central midfield at Selhurst Park, but he failed to impress as they were thrashed by Palace 3-0.
Gilmour lost four defensive duels, failed to have a shot, lost two aerial duels and delivered just two accurate crosses at Selhurst Park.
Norwich fans made a foul-mouthed chant at the 20-year-old player to make their feelings clear.
Chants of “F*** off back to Chelsea, f*** off back to Chelsea” could be heard ringing out from the away end, before being posted on the Talk Norwich Twitter account.
Later, the video was taken down. Gilmour’s loan spell is turning disastrous. He made 12 appearances in Premier League including two in EFL Cup.
