Napoli agrees on a deal for Chelsea man with three years contract

Chelsea striker had agreed personal terms with Napoli few weeks ago.

Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku gets a permanent contract from the leading Serie A club. It means, we will finally see the departure of the Belgium striker. As per media reports, Chelsea have accepted an offer from Napoli for Lukaku.

Both clubs had regular negotiations on Lukaku. As per reports of transfer experts Matteo Moretto and Fabrizio Romano, Napoli have reportedly agreed to pay the Premier League club a fee of €30m plus up to €15m in add-ons for the former United striker.

As per reports of Gianluca Di Marzio and Sky Sport Italia, the deal is for €30m plus a 30% sell-on clause with no additional bonuses. Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna met with Blues directors on Friday. Napoli showed a willingness to increase their offer beyond the €30m mark.

The Belgium striker had agreed personal terms with Napoli few  weeks ago. Lukaku is now set to put pen to paper on a three-year contract at the Serie A club, which will run until the summer of 2027.

Lukaku has the experience of playing Serie A as he has represented Inter Milan and AS Roma. He has also played under Conte and he will reunite with us. He spent his time on loan with Roma last season, scoring 21 goals from 47 matches across all competitions.
