Chelsea manager Maurizio sari believes Ross Barkley could be one of Europe’s best midfielders in near future.
Barkley had his fair share of injuries as the 24 year old started just two games last season as a hamstring injury kept him on the sidelines. The arrival of Maurizio Sarri seemed to have derailed his long term plans at the Stamford Bridge but the former Everton midfielder has fitted seamlessly into his plans and so far has been featured in 10 games with five appearances from the bench.
Barkley has emerged as one of the influential players at the West London club this term and he seems to be have earned the reputation after registering a tally of three goals and three assists.
Sarri praised the player. “He is a complete player.
“He is fast. Technically he’s very good. He’s improving in moving the ball, mentally quicker. And he’s improving tactically.
“I think he’s on the way to becoming a very important midfielder, not only in England.”
“At the beginning he was in trouble.
“In the first month he was in trouble. Then he started to improve in every training, in every match.”
