Chelsea signed N’golo Kante from Leicester City for a reported fee of £32 million, signing a 5 year contract in the summer of 2016. He won the Premier League title with the Foxes during the 2015-2016 campaign, before moving to Stamford Bridge.

The France Internatioanl settled very quickly for the London outfit and established himself as an integral part of the team. He helped the team to win the Premier League and was named the PFA Player of the Year during his debut campaign with them.

The 27 year old was one of the stand out players for the club last season as they finished outside the top 4, resulting in missing Champions League football this season. He helped them to win the FA Cup final against Manchester United back in May.

The midfielder was heavily linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain throughout the summer transfer window, as the club prioritized signing him. But he decided to stay with the Blues this season as the European transfer closed, which was huge boost for the new manager Maurizio Sarri.

With the new manager changing the formation to a back four, he has been a encouraging a more attacking mindset from the player, who is best known for his defensive work-rate.

He has made the transition very smoothly as he scored in the opening Premier League fixture and continues to impress his head coach with his work-rate.

Sarri has admitted that he has been surprised by how technically talented Kante is and claims he can play anywhere in the midfield without any problem.

‘Kante is a great midfielder,’ The 59 year old said as quoted by Metro.

‘He can play any position in my midfield. It’s not a problem for him. ‘I was surprised about the technical qualities from Kante.’

The Premier League goants have won all their Premier League fixtures so far and will look like to extend that in their upcoming fixture against Bournemouth.
