Chelsea star Msaon Mount has said exactly how Frank Lampard is improving him.
Speaking ahead of England’s game against Bulgaria, Mount said: ‘After training, we would do some finishing sometimes. ‘Obviously talking to him every day, especially after games, [he] tells me what I can do better, where I can make the runs and where I can get into the box. ‘I’m always speaking to him and trying to learn things every day. Mostly after training, we do finishing and there’s no better person to learn from than him!’
The young English star was a Chelsea academy product who never really broke into the first team. He was loaned out to Derby County last season, where he had an impactful season with the Rams under Lamps. Now the duo have returned to Chelsea where Frank has given him the chance to succeed again.
Mount has done really well on his opportunity moving out Ross Barkley from the first team. He has already netted two goals in the league and many have tipped the England debutant to make it big this season.
Chelsea have unearthed a gem here and under Frank’s tutelage, big things could be coming.
