Mason Mount Bursting With Confidence Right Now!

Mason Mount is on a brilliant run of form.

England won 2-0 over Albania of the back of one of his lovely goals.

Mount also collected an assist in the first World Cup qualifier against San Marino. He admitted that this international break has been very fruitful, marking his 10th cap for England.

He said, “My mentality is always keep working hard to get into the team and stay in the team, try and get as many games as I can, that’s always my focus.”

“Obviously very fortunate to start the last seven games, I’m in a good place at the moment and scored tonight. High on confidence, just got to keep that going, now the focus is on the next game.”

“It’s a massive game on Wednesday against Poland.”

Gareth Southgate decided to play Mason Mount next to Declan Rice in midfield. With Jordan Henderson injured, Mount has had to fill in and did a brilliant job on Sunday. Now, he will look to mark his place in the Three Lions starting XI ahead of the Euros.

There is plenty of competition for spots in the national side. Mount’s work rate and adaptability makes it a dream for any manager to coach him. Chelsea fans will be hoping to see his form carry over in the Champions League and Premier League games when he returns.
