Romelu Lukaku has just eight goals in Premier League this season.

Romelu Lukaku wants to stay at Stamford Bridge and is hoping his late-season form earns him a second chance under Thomas Tuchel.

The 28-year-old striker joined Chelsea from Inter Milan for £97.5million last summer. During the season, he created lot of headlines. It has not gone to plan but Lukaku does not want to give up on becoming a success story at Chelsea.

He has failed to live up to expectations at Chelsea. The former Inter striker has just eight goals in Premier League this season.

When Lukaku scored a brace, he had not played 90 minutes of league action in almost three months. The club is currently formalising their takeover process. His future will become a priority for Tuchel, Lukaku and the Chelsea board.

The 28-year-old was delighted to rejoin Chelsea last summer and hoped he could even spend the remainder of his career with them.

He was previously with the Blues between 2011 and 2014 but found first-team chances hard to come by and spent time on loan at West Brom and Everton, before moving to Everton on a permanent deal. His best version came with Inter Milan.
