In the career of every football player, the injuries are the worst phase.

Having to watch your team play and your teammates train while you spend time in rehab or therapy is mentally exhausting and physically frustrating. it is even more so for players who are injury prone as they are exposed to this process repeatedly.

One such player is Ruben Loftus-Cheek. The Chelsea midfielder and England international is becoming increasingly injury prone and after a number of impressive mini runs, his injuries have held him back from cementing spots in both the Chelsea and the English national team.

However, Ruben has a strong heart and has refused to give up. He has promised his fans to come back even harder from his latest set back.

“Difficult to describe how I’m feeling right now, more confusion than sadness,” Loftus-Cheek wrote.

“My surgery went very well so I’m off to a good start! I’ll be watching from the sidelines for a little while now so I wish the boys all the luck in the Europa League final and of course the Nations League Finals.

“Coming back strong from an injury is something I’ve had to do all my life and I’ll do it again.”
