Chelsea Looking To Bring In Argentine Striker
Leonaro Confirms Chelsea Haven't Made Any Offers For Gonzalo Higuain

AC Milan sporting director Leonardo has confirmed they haven’t received any offer for Gonzalo Higuain from Chelsea.

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri is an avid admirer of the Milan forward and is believed to be very keen to reunite with his former disciple at the Stamford Bridge. Alvaro Morata has been struggling to get goals while Olivier Giroud hasn’t really contributed much this season.

Eden Hazard has been used in the false nine role pretty often but the need for a proper centre forward has been felt in the long run. Higuain is currently on a season long loan from Juventus.

The Rossoneri have paid £16.3m for his services this season and would have to shell out another £32.6m to make the switch permanent. The 31 year old has netted just 5 goals this season and has had his fair share of problems in front of the goal.

Chelsea are reportedly interested in the player but Milan Sporting director has denied any advances. “It is difficult to manage a striker when he doesn’t score.

“Higuain must find the real himself, he is living in a different situation for him, he left Juventus and he is here on loan. He is very important for us and he knows it.

“We haven’t received any offer from Chelsea – no one has asked us for him and he didn’t ask to leave. Anyway, at AC Milan we keep only the players who want to stay here.”
