Frank Lampard talks about talks about Tomori

Frank Lampard has brought about a revelation at Chelsea.

He came to the club at a time of crisis with Chelsea under the transfer ban. However, he made it count as the players from the academy have come through largely by making big impressions in the first team.

Lampard who was the coach of Derby County last season, was in charge of the Rams and helped them negotiate loan deals for Mason Mount and Fikayo Tomori.

Now that he has come back to Chelsea, he brought back those players and has given them chance to succeed at the club.

Both Mount and Tomori have made it count and look like real deals and now Lampard has said, despite Chelsea having so many first team players coming in to the team, Tomori can play alongside internationals like Rudiger.

“As far as Rudiger I don’t see it as a one for one. I have four very good centre backs, contesting for two or three positions and what Tomori has done is give himself a really, really good start in the race from the way he has played and now he is competing officially for one of those starting slots.”
